Camelina Conversation

Join us March 19th 10am-2:30pm at Club 60 Super Club, Columbus WI for Camelina Conversation. Winter camelina is a new cover crop for Wisconsin. A brassica with winter-hardiness similar to cereal rye, winter camelina is an interesting opportunity for Wisconsin farmers looking to diversify their cover cropping program with potentials for cash cropping.

Participants will learn about winter camelina, hear results from a nitrate leaching study conducted locally, farmers with various levels of growing experience, and cash crop opportunity with Cargill.
