Agriculture Educator Alana VossMy name is Alana Voss and I began working as your Extension Agriculture Educator in October 2018. I grew up in the agriculture community in southern Juneau County on my family’s farm and was very active in 4-H, FFA, and county, state and district fairs. After graduating from High School, I went to UW-Platteville for a double major and double emphasis in agriculture. After graduation at UW-Platteville, I was hired into Extension in December 2016 as the Agriculture Educator for Adams and Juneau Counties and transitioned to my current role in 2018. This year consisted of learning more about Sauk County from behind the scenes and I am now looking to hear the voices and concerns of the agriculture community.

If it happens on a farm or in a field, the Extension Institute of Agriculture works with you to achieve better results. Our innovative dairy management programs range from genetics to farm and business management. Extension researchers work hand-in-hand with row crop, forage and fresh produce growers to provide best practices for every aspect of the growing phase. We also advise communities on using sustainable practices to create inviting spaces free from invasive species. Our work supports people, communities and businesses.
